Kitchen Obsession Hits Again…

Okay, I couldn’t take it anymore… all that kneading dough by hand?  Forget it.  That’s right, now, I just whip out the ~La Belle Vie~ Classic 3 Speed Mixer and go!

As usual, there is a colour change menu to suit your mood and decor and for added fun, the dough hook is touch on/off and three speeds.

Err.. yeah, i’ve finally cracked, but.. seriously.. is that cool or what?

Exciting Things Are Happening!

Please forgive our mess as the main store in Peachy Dunes is expanded.  

There are plans underway for a big party to celebrate it all on Feb. 8th, 2008!!!
The shop will remain open during the construction and new inventory layout and you are more than welcome to see what is going on!
Also… Zasa and Rascal will be taking a break from the business end of shop things from January 9th – 23rd.  Thank you to the so many well-wisher on our wedding.

Exciting Growth Planned!!

As you may know my partner in crime, Zasa Rossini, is the energizer bunny of building.  Give this girl a prim..she’ll slap a texture, shape that sucker, link a few goodies..and bam..you’ve got a masterpiece before you can even say “hello my name is…”.  Well, the bunny has done it again….”wagons ho!” she says, “we are caledon bound!”  And so we are.  We have two exciting announcements tied to this adventure.

First, we are excited to announce we have acquired a parcel of land in the Brigadoon region of Caledon…a brand new sim.  On this new parcel we’ll be opening a second La Belle Vie shop.  The new shop will give us the opportunity to bring a great product into a fantastic community.  We are looking forward to learning more about the unique needs of the Caledon residents and integrating those needs into our future offerings.  Rascal will be spending much of his time at the new store to greet/meet customers and become familiar with the tastes of our new clients.  Zasa will be spending a lot of time in the main store, doing the same.  But in the end…you’ll see us both at both stores. 

A second exciting item will be the creation of a beautiful sitting garden, located on a stunning  bluff overlooking the new shop and the valley below.  This garden will be a nice place to stroll, sit and listen to music of the period. (hmmm…we’ll need to find a decent radio station in Caledon…wonder if they have any?) The garden will feature many of the La Belle Vie outdoor furnishings you have come to love.  We hope this will be a place you choose to visit, time after time.

Zasa and I want to thank you all for your continued support and patronage. Without you, this new move would not be possible.  We are very grateful for you all.  Look for group announcements regarding the timelines of these new creations.

Autumn Fixations, Part Deux

Bread baking wasn’t the only thing on my mind last evening. After many long, involved conversations with friends and even complete strangers over the lack of decent heavy knit sweaters that cover the navel in SL and a not to be ignored request from my best friend, the Knitter’s Tote Bag was created!

Hand held with a sweetly simple animation and in your choice of canvas, quilting or tapestry, the bag is filled with all you need for knitting anywhere! Water bottle, yarn, knitting needles and a romance novel! And because I was inspired to do more (my therapist would say obsessive compulsive, hmph) a set of wearable knitting needles with custom animation is included!
